Deborah Greenblatt

Dr. Deborah Greenblatt is an Associate Professor of Multicultural Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Medgar Evers College, The City University of New York. She has a Ph.D. in Urban Education from The CUNY Graduate Center and is an Academic Engagement Network Faculty Fellow. Her research focuses on social justice, equity, and democracy in teaching and teacher education. Recently, she has been focused on Jewish identity, Jewish children's literature, and fighting antisemitism. She has a love for children’s literature and was a public elementary school teacher for many years.
