Daniel Newman

Daniel S. Newman, PhD, is a Professor and Program Coordinator of the School Psychology Program at the University of Cincinnati, as well as a licensed psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. His research, teaching, and service focus on school consultation, professional supervision, and issues in school psychology, and more recently, he has collaborated with Jewish and Jewish-allied colleagues on research related to Jewish identity development, antisemitism, and mechanisms that support Jewish children and youth. Dr. Newman holds several editorial roles, including Editor of the Journal of Educational and Psychological Consultation, Editorial Board Member for School Psychology and the Journal of School Psychology, Qualitative Methodological Advisor for School Psychology International, and Editor of Routledge’s Consultation, Supervision, and Professional Learning in School Psychology book series. A widely published scholar and national and international presenter, Dr. Newman’s commitment to supporting Jewish youth also extends beyond his academic work through his experience as a Camper Care Coordinator at a Jewish summer camp in upstate New York.
